Straight numbers. All of them, here.

You shouldn’t have to book a call to find out what software costs. Here is the whole number, including the parts other people leave out.

$129per month, billed annually, up to 10,000 contacts

Locked for two years from the day you start.

Website build — design, setup, member import, content migration$2,000 once
Everything else, for a year — $129 × 12$1,548
Your domain name, billed by a registrar, not by usabout $20
First year, all inabout $3,568
Every year after that$1,548

Bigger list? $179/month up to 25,000. Past that, we’ll quote. Unsubscribes and bounced addresses don’t count toward either.

What the $129 covers

All of it, at every size. A bigger list pays for size, never for features.

The website

  • Hosting, backups, security, SSL
  • Every update and improvement we ship
  • Your own design, not a template with your logo dropped in

The software

  • Member records and the public directory
  • Events, registration and ticketing
  • Dues, invoices and online payment
  • Board and committee pages
  • Sponsors and sponsorship packages
  • Email and newsletters to your members

The help

  • A person answers. Not a ticket queue
  • Training for your staff and your board
  • Export everything, any time, and take it with you

Not included, so you are not surprised: your domain registration (about $20 a year, paid to a registrar), and the processing fee your payment provider charges on money you collect. Nobody absorbs that one; we just say so.

The price does not move when you grow

Most membership software bills by how many members or contacts you have. Recruit thirty businesses this year and the software costs more next year. That is a strange thing to charge a chamber for, given recruiting members is the job.

$129 is $129 at 40 members and at 900. If you outgrow us, you outgrow us — but not by a line item.

What everyone else charges

Where we are not the cheapest

We are not going to pretend that table says what it doesn’t. MembershipWorks is less expensive than us — $35 a month at your size, free under fifty members — and Wild Apricot’s smallest plan is cheaper than ours too.

The difference is what you are buying. Those are membership tools that plug into a website you already have, and still have to build, design, host and keep patched. If you have a website you like and someone who looks after it, they are a good deal and you should look at them.

We are the website and the software, built for you, run by us, priced in the open. If your current site is the thing keeping you up at night, that is the difference you are paying for.

What we would ask them, if we were you

  • What does it cost in year three, not year one?
  • What happens to the price when we add a hundred members?
  • Is there a setup fee, and is it refundable if we stop?
  • Can we export everything ourselves, without asking, if we leave?
  • Is the website included, or is that a separate invoice?
  • Who picks up the phone in October when the gala page breaks?

Ask us the same six. We will answer them in writing.

See it before you decide anything

A real chamber site you can click around in, no form and no salesperson. Or book twenty minutes and we will walk through yours specifically.
